Veikkausliiga

Veikkausliiga is Finland’s top professional football league and the highest tier of the Finnish football league system, consisting of the country’s 12 best clubs.

The Veikkausliiga custom typeface was inspired by the idea of the letters being folded from a scarf, a classic item in football fandom. The shapes are drawn sharp and angular to give the font a more primal and powerful look, which fits the emotional landscape of the game and its spectators.
